For  some time now I have been viewing (some may say LURKING) many different blogs. Mainly food, but I also check out blogs about beauty, fashion, crafts, you NAME it!

It can certainly become addicting going through other blogs, collecting recipes, and then checking out other blogs that commented on that blog. Now times that by hundreds. Hence why I became so inspired to start this blog. I want to share my daily love of food and all the  adventures that this HJP runs into :) . But lurking through blogs isn’t a terrible thing. Other kings of lurking however are NOT. More on that later…

Well, ok. I’m sure you get the picture. Sometimes I could get caught and step into the world of lurkerville, lurking through different blogs and not being in the habit of blogging etiquette, I go unnoticed and never really even THOUGHT about leaving comments until recently.

So when I started getting comments from people other than my Mom I felt kind of honored.

Don’t get me wrong! I love my baby momma, I’ll never let her go ;) .

Then I started getting other comments as well!

From Katie

and Paige….

and Jessica! :)

And one of my favorite bloggers,  Chocolate Covered Katie!

Major thanks to Chocolate Covered Katie for featuring me in her recent  hug a fat photoshoot post :)

Enough blog lurkering for now! Back to the food!

I was hungry soon after lunch so I brought an apple and another dear ‘ol friend, Mistah Clif Bar Lovah. With a side of phone, because its so purdy :) .

Photobucket

I’m glad I decided to have the bar also because this apple SUCKED. It clearly not apple season anymore so this was an EPIC FAIL! >.<

After a nice sweaty gym sesh I headed home to enjoy some cloudy porn scenery.

It was only 8:10pm and it was still daylight outside! Another sign of summer :) . Its so depressed when its dark at 6pm.

The sky became practically purple by the time I got to my block. Perhaps the sky gods were reading my purple-hazed mind? ;)

Photobucket

Dinner was far from cloudy but was totally sunny! Curried tofu, corn and whole wheat kasha.

Photobucket

And even more cheeriness with some cherries and grapefruit :) .

I prepared breakfast for tomorrow since I’m always low on time Friday mornings.

Photobucket

Overnight ‘muesli’ oats :) Vanilla soymilk + rolled oats + homemade granola (or store bought Swiss muesli cereal is good too!).

Photobucket

I made sure the warn the fam about this full bowl of goodness with a note.

Photobucket

Overnight oats mission – COMPLETE!

And just when I had a chance to sit down and update about my day I got this message:

Photobucket

$%^&*()(*&^%$%^&*()*&^%$! RAWR!!! >:( I wasn’t too happy about this. Plus dealing with an unhealthy personal lurking problem of my own I was getting a bit stressed out.

Photobucket

Nothing like some mockscream with vegan chocolate bits  to cheer me up. :)

I was still feening for chocolate so I created a delish nighttime snack.

Photobucket

2 Minute Protein Brownie Batter

1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (the scoop that comes in the Integrated Supplements container is pretty big so you might need 2 scoops depending on your scoopsize. I would say its about 2 heaping tablespoonfuls  if you dont have a scoop)

2 tbsps vanilla soymilk or enough to moisten the powder

1/2 tbsp nut butter. I used maple cashew instead of the standard almond I usually use which gave it more sweetness & texture.

Mix up then nuke in the micro for under a minute then mix mix mix. Serve warm.

Voila! A hot brownie batter  mess :) The perfect snack for coping with lurkers and lurking on blogs ;) .
