I am aware that these are a little late, but these pictures are so great I can’t help but make an entry to show them all to you
. I spent a weekend before Christmas taking in all the sights and sounds of the upcoming holidays.
I especially wanted to check out the store windows in NYC. I love going to check them out every year but I never always have time and this year I got lucky.
Macy’s Herald Square:
A chorus of people were singing Christmas carols
.
Lord & Taylor:
Saks:
The tree @ Rockefeller Center^.
I even found my ‘Juicy’ knight in shiny golden armor
…..
at the Juicy Couture store on 5th Avenue.
There was tons of glitter and sparkle along the way.
Wrap it with a bow.
And buckle up.
It’s gonna be a glamorous ride
.
And my favorite windows were at Bergdorf Goodman:
Then outside the store there were tons of paparazzi waiting for someone to come out. So being the lurker I am I started talking to other people waiting and found out that Katie Holmes was in the store. So I waited outside in the freezing weather for over 30 minutes to see Katie for about 30 seconds. Here’s a video I took:
Oh well. Nit my fault I get so easily star struck :p.
Then last but not least, I made it to the much anticipated windows at Barney’s:
This sums it all up
.
Bubble bubble, toil and trouble. Its a Revolutionary Stew!
And a food fight with a bunch of famous chefs!
And Anthony Bourdain winked at me
.
And some lady foodies in SNUGGIES!
Can I have that Rachel Ray clock please?
Silvery illy coffee dreams.
Have a Foodie Holiday
.
And you need a big electric snowflake to top it all of
.
